Data collection systems
Sensors, field instruments and edge platforms that capture reliable operational data.
Good analytics starts with trustworthy data at source. We supply the instruments and systems that capture it: industrial sensors and transmitters, environmental and air-quality monitors, smart meters, weather stations, edge gateways, mobile data-collection devices, and survey equipment such as LiDAR scanners and drones with photogrammetry payloads. Each device is selected for measurement accuracy, calibration traceability, ingress protection and operating temperature, so readings stay valid in the field and not only in the laboratory.
We also source the layers between sensor and decision: edge computing that filters and buffers data when links drop, protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA and MQTT, and time-series platforms that store and visualise readings. Calibration certificates are supplied with instruments, and recalibration schedules are agreed in advance. Where data concerns individuals, we flag privacy and data-residency obligations under Qatar's personal data protection law and equivalent regulations before systems are deployed.

Benefits
Calibrated at source
Instruments ship with traceable calibration certificates and an agreed recalibration plan.
Resilient at the edge
Gateways buffer and filter readings so data survives intermittent connectivity.
Open industrial protocols
Modbus, OPC UA and MQTT support keeps data portable between platforms.
Privacy considered early
Personal-data obligations are identified before any collection begins.

Case study
Illustrative scenarioA metropolitan municipality, Türkiye
- Challenges
- Air-quality and noise readings came from a few stationary stations with inconsistent calibration, and the municipality could not compare districts reliably.
- Relevant services
- We supplied calibrated sensor nodes alongside reference-grade monitors, edge gateways with local buffering and a time-series platform with data-quality rules.
- Outcome
- The municipality now publishes district-level environmental data it can stand behind, using the reference stations to check sensor drift.
Frequently asked questions
Are calibration certificates included?
Yes. Instruments are supplied with manufacturer or accredited-laboratory calibration certificates, and recalibration intervals are agreed at order.
Will new sensors work with our existing SCADA?
In most cases. We confirm protocol support, such as Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT or DNP3, and any gateway requirements against your system before quoting.
What about personal data captured by cameras or counters?
We identify the applicable data-protection law early and can specify devices that anonymise at the edge. Lawful-basis and retention decisions remain with your organisation.
