IT consultancy

Independent technical advice on requirements, architecture, sourcing and tenders.

Many institutions know the outcome they need but not which technologies, vendors or contract structures will deliver it. Our consultancy covers the stage before purchase: requirements definition, technology assessment, reference architectures, total-cost-of-ownership models and technical specifications for tenders. Because we trade across AI, data-centre, network and energy categories, our advice draws on current pricing, lead times and supply constraints, not only on product literature.

We also support the procurement process itself: preparing RFP and RFQ documents, running vendor clarifications, evaluating bids against weighted technical and commercial criteria, and reviewing contracts for warranty, service-level and liability terms. Where an assignment could create a conflict of interest, for example if we might later bid to supply, we declare it in writing and agree how it will be managed. Deliverables are written in English and Arabic for decision-makers and technical teams alike.

Case study

Illustrative scenario

A government entity planning its first AI programme, Qatar

Challenges
The entity had budget approval for AI capability but no agreed architecture, and early vendor proposals could not be compared on a like-for-like basis.
Relevant services
We defined requirements with business and IT stakeholders, produced a reference architecture and TCO model, and wrote a vendor-neutral tender specification with weighted evaluation criteria.
Outcome
The entity received comparable bids against a single specification and selected a supplier with a clear audit trail for its decision.

Frequently asked questions

Can you advise and also supply?

Sometimes. If an advisory engagement could precede a supply opportunity, we declare it at the outset and agree whether we are excluded from bidding or how independence will be maintained.

Do you work in Arabic?

Yes. Specifications, reports and presentations can be delivered in English, Arabic or both.

How are engagements priced?

Engagements are priced as fixed fees for defined deliverables or as time-based support, set out in a written statement of work.

Describe the decision you are facing, and we will propose a scope and fee for the advisory work.
